CORPORAL DAVENPORT PROMOTED TO SERGEANT! Recently, Corporal Alden Davenport was promoted from Corporal to Sergeant. Sergeant Davenport has worked very hard since joining the psost and is huge asset. Congratulations Sergeant Davenport. CADET BARSCZ PROMOTED! Effective July 14th, Cadet Barscz has been promoted to Corporal. Melissa has worked very hard since joining the Post. Congratulations Corporal Barscz!

 

           

Some of our meetings take place at other locations, and we occasionally take a field trip. These pictures were taken on a trip to the Special Ops Center. They were gracious to give us a complete tour of the facilities and explain to us what all of the equipment  does.

Thanks to everyone who came out to the Car Show! The weather started out cloudy and a bit gloomy, but at around 10:00, the sun came out in full force.  Mike's Catfish ,Dederick Messenger, and Patterson Concessions where there serving anything from frozen chocolate covered bananas and funnel cakes, to catfish,french fries and chicken wings. Alexander Ford, Reddell Honda, and Beaman Dodge all stepped up and sponsered all of our trophies for the event.  There were around 40 cars that participated in the show, and the Post earned several hundred dollars. We are grateful for the support of the Murfreesboro Hot Rod Club. The show would not have been possible without them.

SERGEANT GILLAHAN PROMOTED!  Sergeant Marty Gillahan has been promoted from Sergeant to Lieutenant. The promotion was effective on June the 2nd, and was announced on that date.

CONGRATULATIONS!! Deputy Blevins, and wife Christie are celebrating the birth of their son Andrew. Fittingly enough, Christie gave birth on Sunday (Mother's Day), at around 7:30 PM. Andrew weighed in at nearly 9 pounds, and a C section was performed. Christie will be resting for a few more days, and Andrew is doing fine!.
